4-story residential/mercantile building originally completed in the 1870s as a trio of matching row houses. Some around 1900, they were joined and given a new facade of rusticated limestone, the stoop and entrance was removed from the eastern third, and projecting, metal-and-glass ground-floor storefronts were installed around the remaining two stoops.

The original entrance at No. 220 now has a glass door, and is topped by a stone cornice on console brackets. The entrance at No. 222 is similar, but the glass door is recessed. To the right of each door are two single-windows, with three windows at the east section. The upper floors have nine bays of matching single-windows, with air-conditioning vents cut below some of them. A trio of small metal roof cornices cap the facade, carried on brown brackets; the brackets at the east third are slightly larger and the cornice sits higher up. The ground-floor storefronts are occupied by Angelo Bellini Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria, OBAO restaurant (with Urban Nails at the 2nd floor), and Himalayan Curry House.
