299-foot, 32-story modernist hotel completed in 2003. Designed by Costas Kondylis & Partners, it opened as The Alex Hotel. It was sold in 2013 and converted to a Wydnham Resort timeshare property, operated by Wyndham Vacation Ownership. It provides extended-stay lodging, with half of the rooms as suites that contain kitchens and living rooms.
The front facade facing the street is clad in dark-brown metal and glass. Five bays of windows, each with one wide and one narrow pane, alternate with panels of opaque grey-brown glass at the piers. There is an extra pane of narrow opaque glass at the east edge. The facade is criss-crossed by dark-brown metal spandrels and mullions. The building is set back from the sidewalk, and the ground floor has a glass wall with glass doors. At the east end there is a projecting green-tinted glass section with rounded corners, partially containing the hotel's restaurant, Atrium. To the left, the rest of the ground floor is covered by a swooping, sail-like glass canopy
The east two bays of the facade set back above the 15th floor, with the slightly-wider easternmost bay set farther back. These two bays, and the whole east facade, are faced in beige pre-cast concrete. The south-facing bays have short bands of dark-tinted windows, wrapping a short way around the corners. On the east elevation there is a single bay of small, square windows near the front beginning above the 15th floor (the level of the setback), and a small area of windows wrapping around from the north facade.
The tower is roughly L-shaped, with the east-facing and north-facing wall of the northeast corner both having two bays of double-windows (the east bay on the north-facing wall wrapping around to the east elevation). At the joining corner is a column of projecting bay windows set at a 45-degree angle. The west facade has a continuation of the metal-and-glass curtain wall from the main facade on its south end, and the rest is beige concrete with two bays of small, square windows. The southern bay has paired windows up to the 10th floor, and single small windows above. The north bay begins at the 10th floor at has paired windows all the way up. A concrete mechanical penthouse rises at the southwest corner of the tower.
The hotel contains 199 guest rooms.
