This beautiful, sprawling old complex used to be the Orlando train station. It sat vacant for about a decade, then was retrofitted into a shopping mall in the early '80s. Lots of stores - some quite novel - restaurants, a huge video game arcade that took up the whole third floor, some bars with very pretty barmaids, and even a couple huge, impressive nightclubs. The thing was actually a distant second 'most popular attraction' in Orlando for a while, after Disney, doing millions of visitors a year (Though I was never sure why. It was just a mall, after all). Then the other parks in the area opened, and it dropped to like 10th on the list, and then kept falling.
