Wilmore is a city in Jessamine County, Kentucky, United States. The population was 5,905 at the 2000 census. Wilmore has two institutions of higher learning: Asbury College and Asbury Theological Seminary. While both are named after Francis Asbury, they are separate institutions. Given the size of the student bodies relative to the size of Wilmore, they have a significant role in the town.

one helluva town... home of asbury college, its a party school.. lots of drinking and loud music!
