This is a prestressed concrete segmental box beam bridge built in 1989. It carries U.S. Route 1/301 (Belvidere Street/Cowardin Avenue) over the James River in Richmond, Virginia. It also passes over Belle 2nd Street, Tredegar Street, Belle Isle, westbound Riverside Drive, and 2 railroads (CSX north and Norfolk Southern south of the James River). There is a partial interchange at each end. It is 3760 feet long and has 15 spans. Beneath the bridge is a suspended footbridge connecting Belle Isle north across the James River.
