The 12 story, 235,384 sq. ft. Textile Building was constructed in 1906 on a 0.46 ac. site in an effort to stop the scattering of textile firms from their traditional Third Street location. Designed by Gustave Drach in the Renaissance Revival style, the building originally housed the makers of shirts, suspenders, cloaks and neckwear. Long ago converted to office uses the building was meticulously renovated in 1986
