Ayyanar Temple is located on the Bank of Cauvery in the Village of Melur, Srirangam. It is very beautiful location to see. The Cauvery river is also very clear at this village. The temple is more than 2000 years old and a place where King Rajendra Chola has donated the huge elephant and horse statues to the temple.
