This was an ISIS chemical weapons factory. It was destroyed by the United States Air Force in a massive coordinated airstrike involving 12 warplanes, including B-52 bombers and F-18D attack planes, targeting more than 50 locations at the complex. The strike occurred between September 8th and September 13, 2016.

Liberated by the ISF on 25 October 2016.
