  • @About Dargha The Dargah Shareef of ‘Hazrath Syed Baaji Shaheed Avuliya lies in PedaKakani village. ‘Hazrat Syed Baaji Shaheed Avuliya popularly known as ‘Baaji Baba’ to his countless devotees. Though not much is available about his life history in the form of written literature it is believed that Hz Syed Baaji Shaheed Avuliya is a Jal Jalali Wali. It is said that his Visal (expiry) was a Karamat in itself in that he ordered the earth to make place for him and let himself into it and then again ordered the earth to cover him up which did as ordered. When British people were ruling India, once they tried to build a railway track on Baaji baba's tomb. Then Baaji baba is angry on English men and he removes their eyes. They understood their mistake and asks for guilty to Baaji baba. Then Baaji baba forgive the British people and he gifted their eyes to them. Again they try to cut Margo tree, milk came out from the tree, Then they realised the superstitious powers of baba. They built the railway track on different way far from Baaji baba's tomb. People come to the threshold of PedaKakani Dargah Shareef with lots of hope of getting fulfilled their requests, which are strongly believed to be generously bestowed at this place. This place is quite famous for curing various physical ailments. His Dargah Shareef is also famous for its power to get one relieved from possession of evil spirits. The Urs-e-Shareef or Sandal festival is celebrated on 26th day of the auspicious period of “Ramjan” everyyear. @How to Reach The Dargah is located at a distance of 5 km from ‘Guntur BusStand’ along the Vijayawada Highway. The Dargah is situated on the East of ‘PedaKakani Mandal’ 5 K.M away from ‘Guntur’ and 30 K.M from ‘Vijayawada’. PedaKakani is the nearest rail station (0.5 km) but only sub-urban/Unit trains stop here. One can get a Share Autos or Mini Buses from Guntur bus stand to PedaKakani Dargah directly GannaVaram Airport is 45 kilometer from PedaKakani village.
