  • Gudibande is the smallest taluk of C.B.Pur district. The taluk headquarters is at a distance of 32 kms from the district headquarters – C.B.Pur and 90 kms from the State capital – Bangalore. The taluk is bound by Gouribidanur, Chickballapur, Sidlaghatta & Bagepallu taluk of C.B.Pur District and Ananthapur district of Andhra Pradesh. The National Highway NH-7 and other major district and taluk roads connect the Taluk. The taluk geographically lies between 77o 38’ & 77o 51’ 39’’ longitude and 13o 46’ 30’ & 13o 36’ 32’ latitude. The geographical area of the taluk is 227 square kilometers. There are no perennial rivers in the taluk. However, Papaghni river which denotes a belief in the purifying efficacy of waters of the river, rises on the Gundalaguski hills flows in this taluk. Kushavati river also flows in this taluk.

  • Gudibande is my Mother's birth place and I spent my childhood very nice and plesent place for nature lovers. Moderate climate sourrounded by hills and lakes. I did my schooling in this place. I recently visited this place I love this place.
  • A really beautiful taluk with a real rustic charm. A beautiful lake surrounded by hillocks..... spent seven years during the early part of my career there.... I miss the place soooo much....
  • I love this place, its a town of my parents and grand parents, many of my relatives still stays in gudibande, just near that bus stop, opposite to the mountain, i love this place....must visit for 1 day trip...people are really respectfull over there....
