Constructed in 1925 on Huron Street, the 7 story 134 ft. high, Beaux Arts building was built to accommodate the business offices and switching operations of Ohio Bell Telephone. Designed by Mills, Rhines, Bellman and Nordhoff, the building features a seven arch two story arcade at street level and an intricate rooftop cornice.
A later 7 story addition expanded the building through the block to North Erie Street (130 North Erie Street). Now known as Ameritech, the property continues to serve as offices for the telephone company.
