church, Victorian Gothic (architecture), community centre / hall, Grade II Listed (UK)

St Matthias, built in 1857, is part of the Richmond Team Ministry, working with two other Anglican Churches.
About 30 years ago the Church building was divided to provide the community with a usable space and so the St Matthias Centre was created. This conversion of the building won several awards. The St. Matthias Centre is a busy community hub and has a Coffee Bar which is open every weekday morning during term time. Many diverse groups run from the premises.

The church is a Grade II listed building, designed by George Gilbert Scott in Victorian Gothic style.
