St. James Cathedral or formally Cathedral of Saint James is the motherchurch of the Episcopal Church in the United States of America Diocese of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois.

It is the oldest church of the Anglican Communion and Episcopal tradition in the Chicago area, having been founded in 1834. It did not receive the status of cathedral until 1955. The church is led by the Episcopal Bishop of Chicago.
