railway, interlocking
Interlocking on Amtrak's NEC at the north end of the former PRR Edgemoor Yard complex. Made largely redundant since HOLLY interlocking was constructed in the 80's; today BELL concentrates the 1F and 2F tracks into the single 3 track and also provides for a lead to Edgemoor yard and marks the north end of the Shellpot branch (freight bypass around downtown Wilmington). End of 4th track heading southbound.
The original interlocking tower still stands.
