This store was formerly a Mervyn's Department Store, which closed when the department store chain went bankrupt in December 2008. Safeway opened here in April 2011. The new Safeway occupies the majority of the building, and shares the building w/ a furniture store & other smaller shops.

  • best mervyn's to shop at, clean and easy to park at and not too crowded.
  • soon to be another casualty of this economy. What will rise inplace of it?
  • This Mervyns will eventually become subdivided between a new 55,000 square foot Safeway store, and another 20,000 square foot tenant. Safeway plans to add a Safeway Gas Station on the corner of the property.
