Fanum House is the headquarters building of The AA (Automobile Association). It was opened in 1973 by HM Queen Elizabeth II. The building is 18 storeys high and is one of the tallest buildings in southern England, it is seen from miles away on the M3 when approaching from the east of the town. The architects were Farmer and Dark and it was built by Bovis Construction.
