Ambala - Derabasi - Panchkula - Kalka - Dharampur - Kumarnath - Solan - Kiarighat - Shimla - Kufri - The Narkanda - Sainj - Nirath - Rampur - Jeori - Niehar - Karchham - Powari - Rispa - Jangi - Spello - Puh - Khab
Out of the total length of 459 kilometres, 30 km is in Haryana, 31 kmis in Punjab and 398 km is in Himachal Pradesh. Chail, Kandaghat, Fagu and Kotgarh are the famous tourist spots lying on or near National Highway 22. This road is also known as the Hindustan Tibet Road. Narkanda-Shimla section of the road is badly damaged and takes 2h 45m to 3 hours to vover this 64 km of National Highway.
