Bishopsgate (London)
A road in east London on the eastern edge of the city. It runs from Cornhill (near the Bank of England) to Liverpool Street station where it becomes Shoreditch High Street. Its name comes from that it originally ran through Bishopsgate, a gate on the city walls. It lead out to East Anglia.
