East Atlantic Boulevard (SR 814) (Pompano Beach, Florida)
Atlantic Boulevard begins at Pompano Beach Boulevard (although, technically at State Road A1A), and terminates at the Sawgrass Expressway (SR 869). The portion from the beach to Dixie Highway is known as East Atlantic Boulevard.
The original plan for this road was actually to run all the way to US 27, as defined by the Florida Legislature as (Old) State Road 361. Atlantic Boulevard was still constructed out of several segments until they were completely joined in 1982, and then in 1986 it reached its current terminus at SR 869.
