A584 Promenade (Blackpool)

The Promenade is also known by its other name which is called the Golden Mile. On the Promenade the Blackpool Illuminations (or light show) can be enjoyed on foot, the trams, and in other vehicles etc.

There are diverse attractions along the golden mile to be enjoyed along the illuminations route including the pleasure beach, the three piers and art works in the new Great Promenade Show which is beautifully blended into the South Shore Promenade.

Integral to Blackpool’s Promenade and the history of Blackpool are the trams which run regularly along the full Stretch of the Promenade. Along the Promenade, the properties and buildings that dominate the road are mainly hotels.

The Promenade is known for its three separate names, North Promenade, Central Promenade and the South Promenade.
