Kunming's 4th Ring Road (Chinese: 昆明绕城高速内环线西北四环) is an expressway in China, located in Yunnan Province. The highway forms a 113-kilometer ring road from the capital Kunming.
The first section of the 4th Ring Road was constructed in 2005-2006 and opened to traffic on December 28, 2006, a 31-kilometer stretch along the east side of Kunming between the G56/60 and G78/80. Subsequently, the Hangrui Expressway (G56) section between Kunming and Anning was built and opened on February 28, 2007. This was not planned as part of a Kunming ring road at the time, but has been constructed as part of the G56 from Kunming to Ruili. A few years later, the construction of the west ring and south ring started. The west/north side of Kunming opened on November 8, 2013, and the urban section along the south side of Kunming, including the tunnel under Lake Dianchi, opened to traffic on August 30, 2014. With this Kunming had a complete ring road, but the course of the Ring Expressway is quite different.
