Interstate 77 (South Carolina)

Interstate 77 (I-77) is a north-south mainline interstate route from Columbia, South Carolina to Cleveland, Ohio. In South Carolina it runs from Interstate 26 in Cayce near Columbia to the North Carolina border past Fort Mill and Rock Hill, near Charlotte. It generally parallels the older U.S. Route 21 through the state. It primarily crosses the rural piedmont between Columbia and Charlotte, but becomes busier and more developed closer to these cities and forms the southeastern portion of an interstate beltway of Columbia.
