Queen Elizabeth Way

One of the world's oldest inter-city freeways, built in stages from 1931 to 1939, linking Toronto with Hamilton and St. Catharines. This road is occasionally referred to as Highway 451 or Highway 1 by the Ministry of Ontario, as an unposted designation. It was named after the Queen Mother.
