Interstate 25 begins from I-90 in Buffalo, WY. US 87 is cosigned with I-25 for 609 miles from I-90 through Wyoming and all of Colorado (except Colorado Springs) to Raton, NM. US 85 is cosigned with I-25 from Castle Rock (south of Denver) to Las Cruces, NM. From Buffalo, WY I-25 runs south through Casper and Cheyenne before entering Colorado. It goes through downtown Denver and Colorado Springs before entering New Mexico. Before arriving in Santa Fe, I-25 curves northward so southbound traffic is actually heading northwest. After passing through Albuquerque, I-25 ends at I-10 in Las Cruces.

US Highway 60 stretches from Virginia to Arizona. It begins at the Rudee Inlet Bridge (where Pacific Avenue changes to General Booth Blvd.) in Virginia Beach, VA. It continues across northern Kentucky and southern Missouri. Enid, OK sees US Highway 60, as does Amarillo, TX. It meanders across New Mexico and Arizona ending at Interstate 10 exit 31 west of Brenda, AZ.

US Highway 85 runs from Canada to Mexico. It starts at the Canadian border in Fortuna, ND and passes through Deadwood, SD (US 385 starts here). From there, it continues through Cheyenne, WY. It is unsigned in most of Colorado and all of New Mexico. It ends at the Mexico border in El Paso, TX.
