Interstate 10 runs in the southern United States from Santa Monica, CA to Jacksonville, FL. In Santa Monica, I-10 begins from CA 1 next to the beach. I-10 goes through Los Angeles, then on to Phoenix, AZ. It continues southeast to Tucson, AZ and across southern New Mexico into El Paso, TX. It passes through San Antonio, Houston, and New Orleans on its way east. It goes north of Biloxi, MS and a small portion of Alabama before heading across Florida. I-10 ends at I-95 in Jacksonville.

US Route 180 is an east-west highway from Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona to Interstate 20 east of Weatherford, TX. It's not clear where US 180 starts, but it is thought to begin at the Grand Canyon National Park border. After passing through Flagstaff, AZ, US 180 runs southeast to Deming, NM where it turns east. It joins I-10 for a short while, then splits in El Paso, TX. It goes back into New Mexico then Texas again heading fairly straight east to I-20 east of Weatherford, TX. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S._Route_180
