I-20 West / I-59 South / US 11 South (Bessemer, Alabama)

Interstate 20 runs from South Carolina to west Texas. At I-95 exit 160B (I-20 exit 141) west of Florence, SC, it begins its trek westward. It travels through Columbia, SC, then Atlanta, GA. Birmingham, AL sees I-20, where it turns southwest towards Jackson, MS. I-20 continues west through Shreveport, LA and on to the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex (where it runs on the south side of both cities). From DFW, it goes through much less populated areas. It takes traffic through Midland and Odessa, then ends at Interstate 10 near Kent, TX.

Interstate 59 starts in Wildwood, GA (near Chattanooga, TN) and ends in Slidell, LA. In Wildwood, I-59 begins from I-24 and leaves Georgia quickly. It passes through Birmingham where it joins I-20. They run together for a little over 150 miles to west of Meridian, MS. I-59 continues southwest while I-20 bends to the west. I-59 goes around Hattiesburg, MS and down into Louisiana. It ends in Slidell where I-12 meets I-10.

US Highway 11 begins at the Canadian border in Rouses Point, NY. It roughly follows the northern shore into Pennsylvania. It goes through Harrisburg, PA and into Virginia. US 11 passes through Roanoke, VA and Knoxville, TN. When Interstate 59 begins at I-24 outside Chattanooga, TN, US 11 parallels I-59 all the way down to the I-10/I-12 interchange in Louisiana. US 11 ends just south of Lake Pontchartrain at US 90.
