Interstate 70 runs for over 2200 miles from Cove Fort, UT to a park and ride lot east of I-695 in Baltimore, MD. The first interstate constructed was of I-70 in Missouri. In Breezewood, PA, there are traffic lights on I-70.

I-70 starts at I-15 near Cove Fort, UT, then treks east in Colorado and Kansas, through St. Louis, MO and through southern Pennsylvania. It ends at a park and ride lot in Baltimore, MD. It was supposed to continue to I-90, but strong neighborhood opposition stopped it.

US Highway 40 runs from near Park City, UT to Atlantic City, NJ. It starts at Silver Creek Junction, UT (Interstate 80) and ends in Atlantic City at the intersection of Albany Ave. and Atlantic Ave. via Albany. From Utah, US 40 goes east through Granby, CO and Denver. It continues through St. Louis, MO and across Maryland to New Jersey.

US Highway 71 runs from the Canadian border to Louisiana. It begins in International Falls, MN, then south through Minnesota and Iowa and into far western Missouri. It stays fairly southward in far western Arkansas, then in Louisiana begins to trek southeast. It ends at US 190 a few miles west of Krotz Springs, which is west of Baton Rouge.
