Interstate 70 runs for over 2200 miles from a park and ride lot east of I-695 in Baltimore, MD to Cove Fort, UT . The first interstate constructed was of I-70 in Missouri. In Breezewood, PA, there are traffic lights on I-70.

I-70 was supposed to start at I-90, but strong neighborhood opposition stopped it from intersecting there, so I-70 currently begins at a park and ride lot. It continues through Pennsylvania and St. Louis, MO. From there, it treks west through Kansas and Colorado ending at Interstate 15 near Cove Fort, UT.

US Highway 40 runs from Atlantic City, NJ to near Park City, UT. It starts in Atlantic City at the intersection of Albany Ave. and Atlantic Ave. (via Albany) and ends at Silver Creek Junction, UT (Interstate 80). From New Jersey, US 40 goes across Maryland, through St. Louis, MO and into Colorado. It carries traffic through Denver and Granby, CO to I-80.

US Highway 169 is a north-south route from Minnesota to Oklahoma. It begins where US 53 and MN 169 meet north of Virginia, MN. It runs south to Iowa where it runs parallel to US 69. It enters northwestern Missouri, then Kansas City, KS. It ends at the Creek Turnpike in southern Tulsa, OK.
