Originating from the foothills of Bhutan, Nuwa Noi started to flow directly in southward direction, passes through many small villages, crosses many roads and railway line to Jonai and ultimately merged with Mangaldoi river before emptying in Brhamaputra. The source of Nuwa Noi and Na Noi are very close in the Bhutan hills. Harisinga and Kolaigaon are two towns on its bank.
