This portion Of Hollywood Center (General Services Studio) was split off from the rest of the studio in 1925 by exiting studio boss C. E. Toberman, when Hollywood Studios was bought by the Christie Brothers for their Christie Comedies. The main studio entrance was moved to Las Palmas , where it remains to this day.
It was kept as separate property until it was later re-merged (date unknown). Portions of it are under separate ownership again.
