Hilton Rio de Janeiro Copacabana (Rio de Janeiro)

Brazil / Rio de Janeiro / Rio de Janeiro / Atlântica Avenue

The Hilton Rio de Janeiro Copacabana is a five-star hotel in Leme, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The 110 m (364 ft) 37-floor building was designed by Paulo Casé and Luiz Acioli and was constructed from 1975 to 1976. The hotel originally operated as the Le Méridien Copacabana. In 2007, the building was sold and a renovation was started that year for it to become an Iberostar hotel, but the renovation was stalled in 2008. In 2009, the vacant building was sold to Windsor Hotels and a renovation began soon after. The building reopened in January 2011 as the Windsor Atlantica Hotel. It was converted in 2017 to the Hilton Rio de Janeiro Copacabana.

The Hilton Rio de Janeiro Copacabana has 545 rooms, 2 restaurants, a fitness centre, a beauty parlour, a spa, a sauna, a lobby bar, convention facilities, and two pools (one on top of the podium and one on the roof).
