"Presence" by artist Reg Yuson is an installation of 20 free-standing floor chimes. The idea is to nudge the individual chimes to produce sounds to invite good vibes that can fill up the park.

Each "chime" is about 3 ft. in length, made of iron tube about 1 foot in diameter, 1/4 inch thick, and hanged inside by suspending it with 3 spring connected to a single iron post that is buried to the ground. It is somewhat similar to a hanging bell in a church, only the shape is different.

When you tap hard the iron tube on its side it will create a sound, so its nice to hear when you tap it all at the same time. But you have to run past to tap the next and other succeeding "chimes" in order to create a melody. Because the distance between them is about more or less 5 ft. apart.
