NRHP - National Register of Historic Places, 1760s construction, historic house

This pre-revolutionary house was built by the owner of the adjacent grist mill in 1765. It was saved from demolition by the Duck Creek Historical Society. This house, with its gambrel roof, is an example of the style popularly known as "Dutch Colonial." Authentic restoration is now underway.
