The Lindens (Historic Home)

This pre-revolutionary house was built by the owner of the adjacent grist mill in 1765. It was saved from demolition by the Duck Creek Historical Society. This house, with its gambrel roof, is an example of the style popularly known as "Dutch Colonial." Authentic restoration is now underway.

  • I find it odd there is not a reference at the DE Archives site for this site. There is not a blue history sign here that I recall. I cannot find much info about this house, though I do know it is historical.
