Morton is a city along the Minnesota River in in sections 30-31 of Birch Cooley Township, Renville County, Minnesota. The population was 411 at the 2010 census.
Morton was platted in 1882 as a railroad village, and incorporated in 1887. The city developed with the granite quarries across the tracks from the townsite; it served several rail lines, including the Minneapolis and St. Louis Railroad.
