The plantation and Great house from 1751, build by George Ashe, came into the ownership of John Palmer through marriages and death. It is the legend that the ghost of Annee Palmer is still there. In the 1960's the governor of Delaware, USA, John Rollins bought the property and made the great house into a museum. Phone 953-9982, fax 953-2160, restaurant, bar. Entry 15 US, guided tours daily from 9.30am to 5.30pm. Very nice to go there.
