Civita di Bagnoregio is a town in the Province of Viterbo in Central Italy. It is about 120 km north of Rome.
Civita (more often known by the name of the adjacent town - Bagnoregio) has never felt the pressure of a car tire (the bridge is pedestrian / three wheelers only). Bagnoregio was the birthplace of Franciscan, Saint Bonaventura (1221). Born Giovanni di Fidanza.
