A stop on the Cotswold line. The station's single platform is level with the car park and the surrounding area has some houses and light industry. The station, at first named "Handborough" is close to the villages of Long Hanborough, Church Hanborough and Bladon, but also the larger village of Woodstock as well as Blenheim Palace. In 1965 Winston Churchill's funeral train arrived here.
