Completed in 2007 the embassy compound includes the chancery with over 10,000 sq. m of offices. Together with support buildings such as the marine guard quarters and a vehicle maintenance shop, the site contains almost 15,000 sq. m of secure work environment. During construction the $91 million over 450 Algerian and Turkish workers were employed at the project site.

The architecture is highlighted with stones from as far away as Turkey and Italy, symbolizing the connection between this mission and the world community.
