Kennedy Park (known locally as The Boggy) is a green area and playing field bounded by Victoria Road and Centre Park Road. In the past it was used by circuses and fun fairs and has been a site for the annual bonfire on St. John's Eve (23rd June).

Named after US President John F. Kennedy whose helicopter departed from here after his visit to Cork in July 1963.
