Formerly Kaiser Jamaica Bauxite, followed by St. Ann Jamaica Bauxite Partners (SAJBP) is the only company in Jamaica that exports the raw bauxite ore, primarily to the Gramercy refinery in Louisiana. It does so from Port Rhoades in Discovery Bay. SAJBP is owned by the Government of Jamaica with 51% and Century Aluminum Company and Apollo with 49%. They make 4.7 million tonnes of bauxite per year.
