Also known as the Garden Tower. The name of the Bloody Tower was given after the story of the two Princes in the Tower. The two young Princes (one the new king) were kept in the this Tower by Richard Duke of Gloucester (who later became King Richard III) since they were too young to rule. Slowly less was seen of them until they finally disappeared. The most common story was that they were suffocated with pillows on Richard's orders. Sir Walter Raleigh was also held here.
