The monument includes a linear group of three adjacent prehistoric stone circles, known as 'The Hurlers', and, to their west, a close-spaced pair of outlying upright stones, known as 'The Pipers', situated on eastern Craddock Moor on south-east Bodmin Moor.

    These have been called The Pipers, however, the true Pipers are much closer to The Merry Maidens stone circle.
