Goulds is an area in the City of St. John's. It joined St. John's in 1991. With its water supply of "Bay Bulls Big Pond" it was a much-needed addition to the city. Goulds is mostly noted for its cleared grass lands for its locate dairy farms. Locate religions are Catholic (St. Kevin’s) and Anglican (St. Paul’s) about a 70/30 split. Anyone visiting the area should check out the grocery store "Bidgoods" for some locate foods (lobsters, salmon, cod, salt meat and greens). The cleared meadows, lakes, ponds, back roads, pipe lines and pole lines makes Goulds one of the best places for snowmobile on the Avalon. Goulds is only 15 to 20 min from downtown St. John's, making it an ideal place to live in the country and work in the city.
