The Trenton Battle Monument, located at 348 South Warren Street, Trenton, New Jersey, is a column-type monument commemorating the Battle of Trenton, one of the most famous insurgencies in American history, and the pivotal victory for the Continental forces, before their march on Princeton, during the American Revolutionary War.

    Around 1960, there may have been an elevator to take you to the top. Since that time the neighborhood became slum-like and visitors would pass through this area without stopping (except for traffic lights, of course). The monument was visible, however, from a passing car. Since the 2000's, the neighborhood has been undergoing urban renovation and is much improved, though still not a tourist attraction.
