Veer Kunwar Singh was a prominent Indian revolutionary who played a crucial role in transforming the sepoy mutiny into the all India revolt of 1857.
When Babu kunwr Singh was returning back to Jagdishpur after winning Kanpur, Ajamgarh, he had crossed the Ganga river at Shivpur Ghat.
He had injured and got a bullet in his hand, soon he had cut his hand by himself and offered to Ganga Maiya.
