Opened in 1972 as The Selfridge Hotel and closed in 2008. The structure is now known as The Old Selfridges Hotel, with the department store's Food Hall located on the ground level, where the hotel lobby once was, while the upper levels, which once housed hotel rooms, have been gutted down to the concrete shell and are used for events and art exhibits.
