The junction is an island with one exit onto the A379, one exit onto the A376 and one exit onto Sidmouth Road.

  • I find this junction very confusing. It is difficult to be certain, especially at busy times, which lane of the roundabout one should use to get to the desired exit. I have, on occasion, had to go completely round to choose a different lane, hoping that this time it will prove to be the correct one. The markings on the surface need improving to make navigating it much more intuitive. It should never be necessary, having taken the marked lane for one's destination, to change to another part-way round.
