This village has a population of around 1100. It has the chance of having two covered bridges, entirely restored. Founded in 1942. The Matane River crosses the village. This river is well known for salmon fishing. It is a "school river", with many pits that are very easy to reach, nearly all of them reachable by the 195 road.
