  • it is really an anmazing place to stay...i stayed there for 2 days but great .. was on 6th floor..seaview was too good...
  • Me & my Husband of 20 years met here, he was a sous chef of the main kitchen & I was a lobby bar hostess. He was the first batch of executives hired for the inaugaural opening ,He went to India & America on training before commencing work. I call it the fatal meeting & my 4 children ask me why, And I say as our love will last until we die! I joined the hotel in late 1983 & by March 1984 we were going out together. Taj Samudra will always have a place in my memories! NZ resident

  • A nice hotel to stay in Colombo,in the midst of tight security and bomb threats we stayed during Jun 2006 to Jul 2006 . A nicest Bay view , all time breeze ,south indian cuisine,Saturday nite free pub entry for guests are some of the lucrative features of this hotel which we liked a lot.a cool group of IT guys of my batch from Chennai have rocked all the corners of this hotel. Cool memories .:-(
