Second-longest wadi in Iraq (Houran wadi is the longest) ,extends in west of Iraq within Al Anbar Governorate and Karbala Governorate .It is runs for roughly 250 km , from Iraqi-Saudi border (near Arar) in Al Anbar Governorate flow eastward,ultimately ending in Lake Razazah in west of Karbala Governorate . It is broad deeply incised Wadi, more then 1 klm across, bounded by steep scree-covered and slumped walls attaining altitudes of 40–50 meters.
